Dr Devaki Kirupananther (Dr Dev) a mother and grandmother, currently doing part time general practice work, is a new addition to Livingston GPs. She has nearly 30 years experience working as a GP in Perth, WA.
She completed her MBBS in 1985 from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She worked for 5 years in the public hospital system in Colombo, mainly in obstetrics & gynaecology, and emergency medicine. She then did 2 years at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth in different medical specialties.
She moved to general practice in 1994 upon securing her FRACGP. She has been working for a few medical practices in Perth since then. She holds a Master’s Degree in family medicine and palliative care, and a certificate in skin cancer medicine.
